Hi!
Myself (Dr. Elijah) and the Renew Crew wanted to reach out to you, our clients, during this COVID-19 (also known as coronavirus) and ever-changing time that we're in.
We especially wanted to talk about best practices we're ensuring at Renew for a safe environment, as well as best tips to keep you vigilant and healthy as we all walk in uncharted territory — together.
What Renew Is Doing
We continue to follow DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies) guidelines and keep Renew a sanitary environment before, during and after each treatment by utilizing --
• medical-grade disinfectants
• boosting our disinfecting at this time by cleaning our front desk and waiting room, hourly
• diligent hand-washing
• hand sanitizer is readily available for you throughout the office
• diffusers are used to combat contaminants in the air
• Renew Crew is encouraged to stay home at any signs or symptoms of the cold or flu
Tips For You
We're sure you're aware of the extra precautions to take during this time, like social distancing, washing hands for at least 20 seconds, using hand sanitizer and staying home as soon as you experience any signs or symptoms of the cold or flu.
HERE ARE A FEW OTHER TIPS TO KEEP YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM HEALTHY —
• drink plenty of water (at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces a day)
• eat whole, unprocessed food as often as possible
• get restful sleep! If ever there was a time to hit pause in life, this is it -- rest, don't push yourself too hard or skip out on sleep
• if you're not aware of our wellness line of Osmosis products, they offer an Immune Activator to boost your immune system (these are in our immune-boosting arsenal right now; give us a call and we can have these items ready for you to pick up!)
• stay calm, yet vigilant and limit your news consumption time, so your nervous system doesn't get overloaded
• if you have an appointment with us, please use your best judgment for the safety and health of you and the Renew Crew -- don't hesitate to reschedule if you're not feeling well, or getting over the cold or flu.
What If I Do Feel Sick?
At this time, if you do feel symptoms of a cough, fever, or other respiratory problems, it is recommended that you call your healthcare provider for further direction and maintain separation from others.
Please visit the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment website for updated guidance on COVID-19 testing.
We're In This Together
In uncertain times it's easy to pin-point the negative, so we encourage you to be different and consider the positive.
Help where you can -- reach out to your neighbor, check-in on your elderly relatives, and take care of you and your loved ones.
Buy some board games and create memories... because we're all in this together!
Deep breaths, elbow-bumps, and hand sanitizers,
The Renew Crew
