The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.

Giving begins in the places where we live and work. SKIN supports charitable organizations and nonprofits in their efforts to tackle society’s greatest challenges and make our communities stronger. Here are some of the organizations that we support in our local community:

Soaring Eagles Center for Autism (SECA)

SECA is a community based, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children, families and communities overcome the limitations of autism. SECA was established in Pueblo County in 2001 to meet the needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in southern Colorado. Since its inception SECA has expanded to reach families throughout Colorado and surrounding states. SECA grew out of the need for affordable autism services in Pueblo County.

Steelworks Center of the West

The Steelworks Center of the West provides continuing education to the public through the preservation of historic archives, artifacts and buildings of the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company (CF&I), and related activities leading to the industrialization of the entire Western United States.  The Steelworks Center accomplishes this by providing Kindergarten through post-graduate level educational programming, and by collecting, preserving and exhibiting collections of the steel and mining industry, Pueblo’s Bessemer neighborhood, and the contributions and impacts working families in those industries made in the Industrial West.
